JAKARTA – In conjunction with the 19th anniversary of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk (TLDN) on June 1, 2023, the company organized a social activity to express love and care for others. TLDN conducted blood donation activities during this social activity and distributed charity packages.
Through the TLDN Representative Office in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on Thursday, June 1, 2023, the company distributed charity packages to the surrounding community. This initiative is part of the celebration of Teladan Prima Agro’s 19 years of operation in the East Kalimantan region.
Meanwhile, the blood donation occurred on June 2, 2023, at the TLDN Headquarters in Jakarta and the TLDN Representative Office in Samarinda. In collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), TLDN employees voluntarily donated blood to help those in need.
The blood donation activities conducted by TLDN followed the applicable procedures of PMI, including registration (filling out registration forms and health questionnaires), preliminary examination (weight measurement, haemoglobin level test, blood type examination for first-time donors), and medical examination by a doctor (medical history, blood pressure measurement, blood sample collection).
After the pre-donation procedures were completed, TLDN employees proceeded with the blood donation process, including arm disinfection, blood collection, and sample collection. Then, at the administrative stage, the involved employees received donor card and vitamins. Lastly, the donors were recommended to rest for recovery.
