CIANJUR – As a form of empathy for the earthquake disaster that occurred in Cianjur Regency, West Java, on November 21, 2022, all employees of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk participated in fundraising to help the disaster victims.
Hendro Setyo Aji, Head of the Human Resources Department of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk, expressed his condolences for the earthquake that struck Cianjur Regency, West Java. “First of all, on behalf of myself and PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk, I would like to express our deepest sympathies to the people of Cianjur Regency for the earthquake disaster that has occurred. We hope for a speedy recovery and that our assistance can be useful,” said Hendro Setyo Aji.
The donations have been channeled through the Social Service Post of Cianjur Regency, Sukawarna III Village, RT.03/RW.09, Sarampad Village, Sugenang Sub-district, Cianjur Regency, West Java, on December 2, 2022. Donations from employees of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk include clothing, medicine, vitamins, necessities, and other items.
Ari Hariyana, a functional officer of the Social Worker of the Social Service of Cianjur Regency, West Java, appreciated the donations given by the employees of PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk. According to him, the earthquake victims in Cianjur Regency, West Java, still need assistance and support from the public because their status is still categorized as an emergency response.
“On behalf of the Cianjur Regency government, I would like to express my gratitude for the assistance from Teladan Prima Agro employees who have shown their concern and helped the people of Cianjur. Hopefully, the assistance you provide can be useful,” said Ari Hariyana when meeting with employees’ representatives from PT Teladan Prima Agro Tbk in Cianjur Regency, West Java, on Friday, December 2, 2022.
For information, based on data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) until December 6, 2022, the earthquake in Cianjur resulted in 331 fatalities, 593 people seriously injured, and a total of 114,683 people displaced. This disaster has also caused 35,601 damaged houses or in severely damaged condition.
